I think that the biggest problem that the NTFS driver has is that most of the
programmers who are good enough and know enough about Linux to do good driver
writing know enough to run screaming whenever they hear the windows 'startup'
sound.
I have 3 Linux boxes and one OpenBSD box, but I only dual-boot one to Win-95
to play one game. To work on NTFS I'd actually have to (uck!) pay for a copy
of XP andload it on my machine.
Perhaps, If I come across a cheap used NT box, I can have some fun developing
NTFS.
In the meantime, however, what can a Peon like myself do to support the project?
I'm thinking of things like organizing the (raw?) documenttion that you have,
writting support routines, perhaps putting the rest of the docs and Ideas you
have on a (simple) web page so others have access, etc.
