I'm running Fedora Core 2 and wish to add NTFS support. I started with kernel
2.6.5-1.358, but I ran xconfig and added more options, then built a new kernel.
(2.6.5-1.358custom)
When I try to install the correct module for kernel 2.6.5-1.358, it says that
it can't because its not the current kernel running. I guess that its looking
at the "custom" suffix. I read the section about "building you own module",
but I'm not sure where I can find the source code for the kernel.
What is the best way to add NTFS support to this Custom kernel without building
a new kernel?
Any help would be appreciated.
thank you
Dan
