Your NTFS is probably inconsistent already so resizing is refused. You must
run chkdsk /f on Windows first.
However ntfsresize on Knoppix is VERY old (two years) and VERY limited
in functionality. Over those years there were many improvements, most importantly,
safe data relocation was implemented.
You should use a newer ntfsresize, at least version 1.9.1. Also, most Live and
Rescue CD have the newer versions, so you could try one of them. The table in
the below URL can give ideas or just dowload the latest, statically linked
