I am trying to resize my primary NTFS partition on my Dell laptop running the command ntfsresize --s 28G /dev/hda1 and getting back the error Checking filesystem consistency ... ERROR(5) : ntfs_decompress_mapping_pairs: input/output error Any help would be appreciated.
