Therefore you can't do it with the native driver. You may use the non-native driver with a project called Captive-NTFS. Anyway, note that your kernel holds the old NTFS driver. If you don't plan on using captive, you may gain better performance and stability (in R/O mode) by patching your kernel with the new NTFS driver.
