I'm not sure which one can burn DVDs though. But You will need to create the NTFS image before burning, and that requires some HD space on a place other than the partition you are backing up. You can use disk space over network for that or a different partition. 2&3) You do not need a RPM for knoppix, These are for RedHat/Fedora only.
