Hi
I have backed up a laptop sucessfully to a large external USB HDD.
I have mounted the external USB drive OK (using the System Rescue CD) and can
see the file (loaner.img) on /mnt/sda2. I have used "cd" to move to that folder
and used "ls" to confirm file presence.
All Ok so far but when I try to restore the image to a now "zapped" HDD using
"ntfsclone --overwrite /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 loaner.img" I
get the message "Error(13) Opening file ' /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1'
failed:Permission denied".
I suspect that this is a device not a file - any suggestions how to make this
work would be very welcome.
Thanks
