Hi folks,
since you are all playing with NTFS, I hope this is the right place to
ask...
Does any of you have a utility to list which sectors on the physical disk
are occupied by a file that is on an NTFS volume?
Ideally running on Win32, or if not, source code that is portable to Win32,
ie. not depending on too much libraries...
The purpose is to generate files for booting GRUB from an NTFS partition:
so I would like to obtain a list of disk sectors occupied by for example
"C:\grub\initrd.img".
thanks,
