[Linux-NTFS-Dev] Forwarded NTFS forum messages

Hello,

Apparently development unrelated forum messages are forwarded to
linux-ntfs-dev. Anybody knows if this is a sourceforge malfunction 
or a result of some misconfiguration? Thanks,

That was me.  Sorry, I thought it would be useful...

I have now created a new mailing list linux-ntfs-user@ and I will move
the Forum forwards to it once it is active (can take up to a day).

My intention is to either completely shut the forums or to point out to
people that they might receive replies on the mailing list instead so
they should look in the archives or supply an email address to be sent
the reply to.

I find using the forums a complete pain and want to get rid of them but
a lot of info is on the forum archives which I don't want to loose. )-:

Very true :(

Also very true.

The problem is that most users don't like or want to give away his/her
identity thus they prefer to stay anonymous on the forum. If they are
forced then I'm afraid they won't report problems. 

A two way forum, mailing list gateway would be nice but SF can't do it.
Probably the missing list->forum way could be scripted but who has the
time for it ... But perhaps somebody already did it for other projects? 
I wouldn't be completely surprised :)
