I don't like qmail's license.
Postfix is another reliable mail server.
Personally I prefer sendmail, but you need to know how to cunfigure it,
and you rarely really need the things only sendmail can do (especially
support for old and weird protocols). I'm used to it...

Now I mentioned the three (IMHO) most important MTAs for Linux. ;-)))
