	You can use most source that's designed to be portable.  If you go with
Yellow Dog you should have most, if not all, of the programs you might
need.  But, if you're running Macs, you might be be better off running
OS X.  I've found that it's got everything I could need for workstation
or desktop needs.  Including X.
