I updated this patch against CVS HEAD of 2006-07-25. Fixed a bug in 
ActionError and added required ForceTermination action handler.

Please review and comment.

Still working on splitting the patch :-(

Regarding the upnp friendly name from the gatedesc.xml I think it should 
be an easy to change configuration option. We should keep the 
manufacturer, manufacturerURL and modelName hardcoded as credit to the 
project, but the name should something users can change at will. Perhaps 
even give an option to auto-append the host name.

I know and I'm sorry for this. The problem is that at some point I
introduced ActionError function in gatedevice.c to
simplify error situation handling. Changes related to this are scattered
all over making hard to split it in smaller pieces. I'll try to split it
if this is what it takes to be reviewed and accepted.

Please don't let my "Layer3Forwarding and minor enhancements" patch[2]
delay the long awaited 0.93 release. I have no problem waiting for the
next release....Oh wait a moment, is it going to take another three
years and a half ? ;-)

That's pretty much what I suspected anyway, but it should be enough. I'm =
still=20
unable to do anything though because of the really bad internet connectio=
ns of=20
China. But you can continue anyway, I'll be back somewhere in the middle =
of=20
August.

Hi,

I am listening. In order to attract interested developers to this list,=20
let me suggest that one of the project admins do some of the following:

- update the web site: Currently there is a 'Mailing list' link that=20
directly goes to the registration for linux-igd-help list. Perhaps we=20
should add a  page there describing the purpose of each list and provide=20
separate links for registering to each one. Or add an entry in the main=20
page (THE LATEST UPDATES). Or add a "Development" section with a link to=20
this list, where we may add in the future a roadmap, coding style etc

- post an announcement about this list in the two fora in a brand new=20
topic titled appropriately (Eric's reply to the "When is the next=20
release" can easily escape attention)

- add an entry in the News section in SF (it is empty after all these=20
years), perhaps stating that we are in the process of releasing version=20
1.0 and discussion about roadmap, features etc is to take place in this l=
ist

Looking forward to discussing development issues here :-)

As a side note WDYT about:
- Change the Reply-To header of list messages to point back to the list
- Change the Footer of the list messages to include a signature mark:
  "-- " so it can be automatically striped when replying
