#34 Package for debian?

What is the reason why there is no package for debian?
10 years ago there was already a package awailable.

At least for RasPi it is a real pita to get linux gpib compiled, if you do not have recent script for it.
It would have saved hours of my and many others lifes...

Seems GauiStori just needs a bit of motivation to put it into debian:
