Hi Allan. As far as I understand it, then the kernel version and the gpib-version does not have to be equal, I think it is only a coincidence that they are so close. But if you are in doubt, then make a copy of you SD card for the Pi and try one of them, if it works, then great, and if not, reload the Pi from the copy and try an other version of the gpib :-) (However, do remember to make a correct copy using a tool for copying complete file systems, not just cp...)
