[Linux-gpib-general] linux-gpib Debian packaging?

Hello,

I'm very interested in using linux-gpib and have built it successfully on
Ubuntu 16.04. Does anyone else build Debian packages of linux GPIB? I see
it used to be packaged but was then was removed because it stopped being
maintained.

I've never maintained a package but will look more into the process if the
developers here would be interested in accepting patches to re-add or
support Debian packaging. My goal would be to make packages for Ubuntu and
have instructions for building them for Debian Stretch and newer.
