[Linux-gpib-general] make fails ....

hi frank (and others on the list),

i am trying to install the code (ver 3.1.4) on rh 7.1 running on kernel
2.4.2-2 and gcc 2.96. The hardware is NI PCII card with addr 0x2b8, irq=7,
dma=0.  the "make config" seems to doing fine. i do see a gpib.conf
created in /etc with correct hardware settings.

however, make config fails. i have put the screen dump in the attchment
since i failed to understand why this should happen. it reports the
problems with header files in the kernel source. could you please help me
through this? i know the attachment is really big, but i thought it to be
better to provide all the info i could.
