Either 2.4.x or the older 2.5.y w/ the older fbdev.
(I assume your patch for 2.5.2 works for you :-)

I tried 2.5.11, it doesn't even compile the IDE stuff
on my laptop now... 2.5.y on PPC is getting worse with
each new release :-(
