This wasn't the case in the past. This will most probably break the glint X driver on apus boards, not nice. That said, the permedia3 glint driver don't use "USEFBDev", and i guess y= ou should be able to run your pci based permedia2 board without this option = even if you have are using pm2fb. > So I suppose that code has outlived its usefulness.
