I'd like to, but the DJ tree disagree with us.

<driver/macintosh/macserial.c> doesn't compile.

After disabling it,

<driver/macintosh/mac_hid.c> doesn't compile.

After disabling all HID,

<driver/macintosh/adb.c> doesn't compile.

At that point I gave up, as obviously the DJ tree
cannot be used on a PPC.

Unfortunately the only permedia3 card I own live in
a PPC box, so the port will have to wait a bit more.
