I'm feeling a bit foolish today, after a week and a half of stupidity. I was so close to the problem that I was no longer able to look at it with objectivity. My buddy noticed my problem as soon as he looked at my lilo.conf. I was passing the vga=791 argument as a lilo append= option, which was WRONG, and just my stupidity... sorry for the noise... vesafb is just fine! So kudos to the developers! Thanks to the vesafb, my project gets a nice X interface without having to know the details of everyone's video hardware... I like it! http://biatchux.sourceforge.net thanks, William Salusky ch...@dm...
