[Linux-fbdev-devel] smp locking inf FB drivers

Hi,

I'd like to know if (in the current 2.4.x) the fbcon layer give the
lower-level
driver any insurance against concurrent calls to the various fb_functions  ?

Basicaly, do I have to use locking in order to make sure the video chip
is not accessed at the same time ?

The video board i'm working on doesn't use irqs so i'm safe on this side ...
