[Linux-fbdev-devel] i810 Not detected

Hi all

Thanks for all the help I have received so far. I got the kernel to =
compile and can boot, but i810fb does not detect any i810 chipset.

agpgart does detect it: (from dmesg)

Linux agpgart interface v0.99 (c) Jeff Hartmann
agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 93M
agpgart: Detected an Intel i810 E Chipset.
agpgart: detected 4MB dedicated video ram.
agpgart: AGP aperture is 64M @ 0xf4000000

Then the next message is from i810fb:

Intel 810 Not detected - exiting 2

Any ideas? If agpgart can pick it up, why doesn't i810fb recognise tihe =
i810 E?
