There's two options, both of which I have successfully used in 2.6.0.test11: a) Use the fbdev driver in X, using the same resolution as your framebuffer. Note this is driver "fbdev", not the UseFB option. b) Grab Petr Vandrovec's patchset at ftp://platan.vc.cvut.cz/pub/linux/matrox-latest/. It was made against test7, but applies cleanly to test11.
