Hello, I love having a higher resolution terminal straight from boot. I have a Toshiba Libretto 100CT that can do 800x480 resolution in X, but I'm wondering if it could also be set to that resolution from the lilo.conf "vga= " setting. It has a NeoMagic graphics. I've had good luck with vga=784 (640x480), and can even use 0x03 and 0x305 (but the screen is larger than my monitor will let me see - right margin and lower margin are out of reach). I know the unit could do it if I could just find the right setting number. Others have found undocumented settings for resolutions like 1400x1050 (vga=830), so it must be possible, but again, this is not documented anywhere and that user just happened on it by pure accident. Could anyone please help me figure out the right setting number or maybe tell me how I might extrapolate the setting number from other data? Thanks very much! pK. -- Patrick A.
