[Linux-fbdev-devel] Animated Boot Splash Image

Hello to All.

I would like to know what is needed to load and display animated boot
splash images with fbcon.
As i know fbcon support display of gif images.
What for patches and additional sources are needed
for displaying as a example also simple animated gif files.
