Hey Begin!
Here is what I needed to add to my grub.conf:
title Fedora Core (2.6.12.1VESA)
root (hd1,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.12.1VESA ro root=/dev/hdb1 rhgb
vga=0x31B video=rivafb
Note the 'vga=0x31B video=rivafb', I am running a NVidia video card.
[root@Shrek ~]# ddcprobe
Videocard DDC probe results
Description: NVIDIA Corporation NV28 Board
Memory (MB): 128
Monitor DDC probe results
Monitor DDC Probe failed.
