#7 LAT : caracters are transmitted, but not immediatly

I sent yesterday a post, but I don't find it today.
I have new elements for the problem.

My problem is : in both directions, LAT and reverse LAT, the characters I send are transmitted sometimes immediatly, and sometimes with the next packet.

Direction LAT : I have an application, and the user on his VT type <RETURN> to go to the next field. Sometimes the screen change and the cursor goes to the next field ; and sometimes (1/10), the key <RETURN> has no effect. So I press <RETURN> a second time, and on the screen the cursor jump 2 fields.

Direction reverse LAT : I pilot robots through LAT connection, behind a DecServer900TM. I send instructions to the robot, and I get immediatly the respons (the 6 first steps of the init). And then for the next command from the host, the robot is idle and is waiting for commands. When I answer manually (to the command I haven't received), then I get this command and immediatly the next one.

Host : Linux RedHat ES3
VT420, DecServer900TM

Nota : This protocol works well with our "old" Tru64 UNIX with original LAT, in both directions. I migrate all the softwares to a new host, under Linux.

I also tried without the "-Q". In this case, I don't see anything on the robot (or the VT I use for the simulation).

Hereafter some traces of the dialog between the host and the robot. I set a timeout of 2 seconds in my software.
