OK, I apologise for giving out diff information. I've just
actually tried RedHat 9 and works perfectly.
So you need to check that your ethernet card has it's MAC
address set correctly (look for it in /proc/net/decnet_dev)
If that's so then try doing dndir with -vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
and send me the output. Best send to my email address rather
than this rather basic "support" system!

This sounds like an instance of a known problem with the Red
Hat kernel. Can you try a custom-built kernel instead ?

If i use a custom-built kernel, can i have other problems?
Thanks
