No. you can't connect to a LAT server on the same machine. It's a known 
restriction. I have no intention of changing this either - it means 
making the server listen to its own packets which just adds pointless 
load to it.

Talking to yourself might be handy for testing, but it's no real use ... 
be honest :-)
