Of course that "not" should have been a "now".
I notice that both reports are from people using vendor kernels. Now I've got
into trouble before for blaming vendors for things and now I work for one I'll
have to tread more carefully! Is it possible to try a "Linus" kernel and
see if it has the same problem. I don't really have the time to download and
test others kernels at the moment.
The "Tainted" remark in the oops bothers me too....
