Help please! Extreme newby here. I'm trying to setup phprms. But even before that, I thought it would be important to just test some basic connectivity. So I set out to run the dnping, but received the following errors: cortez root # dnping 1.103 Write: Transport endpoint is not connected cortez root # dnping 1.1 Write: Transport endpoint is not connected cortez root # I have a Gentoo Linux box with decnet compiled as a module. The module is loaded. We've set the MAC address to: AA:00:04:00:67:04 and our node number is: 1.103 and here is the relavent info from our decnet.conf file: #Node Node Name Node Line Line #Type Address Tag Name Tag Device #----- ------- ----- ----- ----- ------ executor 1.103 name CORTEZ line eth0 node 1.1 name SPEEDY cortez root # lsmod Module Size Used by Not tainted decnet 58796 1 usbcore 39808 0 (unused) tulip 42592 1 Can anyone please help? I've done some searches in google for the error message, but it appears to be fairly generic and common message. I've also read the FAQ, and haven't yet found anything. Any ideas would be extremely appreciated. Thank you so much in advance. Steven -- Know your neighbor.
