In theory Debian should be the easiest to get working with DECnet - if you can run "testing" or "unstable" that is. All you need to do is make sure you are running a 2.4 kernel and type # apt-get install dnet-progs answer a couple of questions and reboot(to set the MAC address). My interest in this is that I am also the Debian maintainer of the DECnet packages but that's not a financial one. Now I'll let the real users of DECnet have their say... Patrick |
