Plus it would also have helped if I had remembered to build the ZIP archive with
"-V" to preserve the VMS file attributes....sorry.

I've uploaded a new symbiont.zip that has that corrected and also has the object
files and BUILD_ALPHA and BUILD_VAX command procedures so you should be able to
get it to work on any version of VMS. I'll think about doing a VMSINSTAL kit but
I haven't done one for years so it may take some time.
