About a year ago, I tried to get SLIP running, and I think I had to manually create the serial SLIP device with something like DEFINE COMMUNICATION_CONTROLLER SL /TYPE=SERIAL SET CONFIG INTERFACE SL0 or maybe it was SYSGEN> CONNECT xxA0 /NOADAPTER /DRIVER=zzDRIVER then run the UCX$CONFIG or TCP$CONFIG (or whatever the command file name is). I couldn't get SLIP to work, then found out that the serial port on the other computer was bad, and I never made the time to try again. But, I was able to start the stack and ping myself and telnet to myself. Bob |
