This brings up another point that I've wanted to talk about: using
the
MultiNet TCP/IP product for VMS, it's possible to encapsulate DECNet
inside of TCP/UDP/IP packets. Therefore, it could be possible to have
a DECNet WAN/LAN using TCP/IP over SLIP or PPP without having to
have a network card on the PC. But the cost of network cards have
plummeted so much lately.
Anyway, just a thought...
