I have reviewed some messages.

Eduardo had a DAPFS patch for 2.3.99-pre5, Steve submitted it for the next
kernel release.
There was a message from someone in the kerrnel group, acknowledging receipt
after Steve made some suggested chnages.

Sooo... I would fire up my 2.3.99-pre5 and try that patch.

I have not been able to test past 2.3.99-pre7, if I remember correctly. My
system will lock up beyond rebooting if I use decnet. I actually have to press
reset, the problem was not always immediate, but it never failed.

I can not compile the 2.4.0-testx as I get a compilation error at traps.c,
however I did not see the DAPFS option in network file systems.
