Had to tell the kernel to tell the NIC to use a DECnet-style ethernet address (in Red Hat, add MACADDR=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx to /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg=eth0 and ifdown/ifup eth0). I don't know if this works with all NICs, though. Later, Kenn |
