#27 IBCS 3.8 error on RHEL 5.7 32 bit (on kernel version 2.6.18-274.el5) for FOXBASE SCO

Hi,
I am trying to run FOXBASE SCO on RHEL 5.7 32 bit.I tried to "make install" ibcs 3.8 on( RHEL 5.7 32 bit ),which i downloaded from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-abi/files/ .The kernel version is 2.6.18-274.el5.
The make command runs fine without any errors .But while executing foxplus command i get the following error :

libc: setlocale: LC_CTYPE: LANG environment variable syntax error.(TERMS(termcaps) that i used for the proccess were vt525,vt100,vt220 etc) .
What could be the issue?.
Also would like to ask which ibcs version is supported for kernel version 2.6.18-274.el5 to make FOXBASE SCO run ? .
