I used the linux-abi patch-2.6.24 (which you posted) with the version of kernel 2.6.24 I downloaded from www.kernel.org

The ABI and its kernel were run successfully, I compiled the kernel and boot the operating system kernel that no errors of any kind. Even ran a number of UNIX applications, but:
My goal is to run an Oracle 7 made for SCO UNIX. When I indicated I dbstart returns the following errors:
ora-07320: smsget: shmat error when trying attach sga.
ora-07306: sms1sg: shmget error, unable to get a shared memory segment.
I have tried all possible values for all parameters of the kernel you have to do with shared memory and semaphores, but nothing.
From his experience with Linux-ABI. You think I might be happening?
I spend the same with the version 2.6.16 of the ABI to the kernel 2.6.16 that I downloaded from www.kernel.org .

I'm doing the tests in a virtual machine

I have reviewed the code for the ABI, I could tell he does some work with the shared memory and semaphores with the kernel source code.

I ask you if you have any idea what may be going to tell me.
thank you very much for your time and trouble that could cause

    excuse my English
