The previous version didn't work on Dell Optiplex's.  I've uploaded a
new version that does work on Dell Optiplex's to:

This version compiles on 2.6.35, but I haven't tested it on there.  It
would be helpful if people who tried it on platforms other than Debian
Squeeze amd64 (2.6.32) reported their experiences here.
