    Hallo
I could sucessfully install ibc2-3_8 on FC10 and Ubuntu 9.04, but my INFORMIX-binaries do not work properly:
    1. The command to start the programming  environments with "i4gl" starts the correct menu of the aplication, but on the wrong place. The menu do work, but is not displayed correctly.
    2. The command to start sql-menu "isql" do not bring up the correct menu, but only strange questionmarks, which are printed in white on black circles.
My question 1: Is this due to a problem with termcap? Or is it a problem with the incorrect modules, which I would have to enable/disable in  CONFIG-File?

Question 2:  README-File says: "run "en_tr" to enable tracing via syslogd"
Does anyone know, how I can do that correctly? I did ./en_tr  and had a look in /var/log/*.log
but no entry in these files.
    Thanks for hints.

      Hi, Philipp.

I have never used INFORMIX, but Progress 6.2.

For it to be correctly displayed I need configure konsole to display cp850 instead utf8 as well my custom keyboard and protermcap (If you're interested, I can send it).

Additionally, my progress binaries segfaults without ibcs2 libraries, but it seems this problem does not affect you.

      Miquel.
