Yes, this is a good point, I have been playing around with cvs as you can see, I'm going to mirror Paul's site in the /Web directory, this should allow multiple changes under revision control. You can browse the current state of the CVS at the following location. http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/?cvsroot=linux-7110 As previously stated I've also uploaded binaries in /Distribution/2.1 but this was me only playing. I was hoping that we could upload binaries into the /Distribution/2.1 directory that could become, in effect, a distribution that can be ftp'd onto the psion from the host. I know this is not ideal, but if we keep it simple for now it should work until we have a better system. We don't want to get too bogged down in making an installer at this time (unless anybody wants to). A simple initrd with ppp and a command line ftp program with tar and gzip should facilitate a rudimentary installer (similar to the old slackware). As for sources, I think that a similar approach to ftp://ftp.arm.linux.org.uk/pub/armlinux/source/patches where patches to known programs that can be compiled with the x-dev toolkit are placed (Ideally of course getting the patches incorperated into the mainstream release would be better). Most of the time it should just be tweaking configure scripts. As for anything worth uploading, I think upload anything that needs testing, such as for instance your python binary and maybe the patches for the source (if any). If a program is deemed to 'work' then we could announce it on the site so people can download it. Any ideas would be good at this point.
