There are three possible causes: 1) If you start LinPsk the first time it's in demo mode. You have to deactivate demo mode. Then you 'll see the sound devices LinPsk has detected. 2) LinPsk uses OSS sound. If you are using ALSA you have to activate the ALSA OSS emulation. 3) The sound device is already in use , perhaps by a r unning sound daemon.
