I assume Linksos will have a quick launch tray like
Win9x/NT and GNOME/KDE.
A quick launch tray is the applet right next to the
start menu (on a default install of the above mentioned
operating systems.) That contains shortcuts of most
used applications or preffered applications. That allow
you to launch that application with ease.
However many times you have to many shortcuts there and
some will be hiden behind a >> sign. Click on that sign
and they are shown.
What I'm thinking of is not clicking them but hovering
the mouse over it resize the launch tray and make the
taskbar (were open applictation are shown) smaller.
When the mouse leaves everything is back to default sizes.
This only when you hover the mouse over the hidden
icons sign.
