well my problem is far more deep than determining the usb device.
My problem is the available versions of eibd for mipsel seem not to support
the usb device at all.
So
#eibd --help
on my openwrt system does not contain
usb
as an supported url.
On the other hand I am not really able to cross-compile
Martin Koeglers bcusdk_0.0.3.tar.gz for openwrt.
Anybody got a working Makefile for this latest version
which contains an eibd which supports usb ?
best regards
Michael

You got something that works, so just for info.
I never compiled eibd_0.0.3 because the main new feature in that release is the group cache that I don't need for linknx, so I prefer to stick on 0.0.2.1.
Initially, I enabled only FT1.2 backend to make it as small as possible.
When I have time, I'll try to make another package with usb enabled, but since you found it somewhere else, that's not a priority.

Jean-François

Hello Jean-François,
it would be nice, if you could include findknxusb in one of your next mipsel releases,
e.g. eibd.
thanks a lot

Hello,
I have to take back my request.
Just found http://users.telenet.be/fvcr/eibd_0.0.2.1-2_mipsel.ipk
which has an eibd version which supports url.
Michael

Hi Jean-François,
I agree, right now I don't see a real need for eibd_0.0.3.
Although I am really happy that I found a eibd version
which supports my usb interface.
