    All,
in case it if of help to someone:
I use excel to maintain the list of linknx-object-definitions, including the flags, "log" and "persistence" and listeners. It is no rocket science, but it helps me to maintain my ~250 entries, filter them, document and change them quickly after I add new devices. After a change in the settings, I just copy the "M" column and paste it in linknx.xml between the <objects> - tags and restart the linknx.

    http://linknx.wiki.sourceforge.net/space/showimage/linknx-objects.xls

The fields, which have to be entered are highlighted yellow - the others are results or just comments. I left the first entries in as a sample...

    best Regards, Jens

      Thanks a lot...

It makes the faulty manual writing of the xml file a little bit "sure"..
