Hi,
has one of you ever thought about setting up an interface between linknx and asterisk?
I have not yet worked with asterisk, but I could imagine, that asterisk would be able to provide a Voice interface (voice xml?) to request or set KNX parameters. The "phone" interface towards asterisk could be probably provided by a (free) sip account.
-> I.e. I'd call "my" asterisk at home via the SIP-phone number, asterisk ask for some pin-code and guides me through a menu:
"Welcome home, what do you want to do…press 1 to switch on heating, press 2 to get status report…."etc.
What do you guys think of this idea?
best Regards, Jens

Hi Jens,
with asterisk I have no experience, but I'm using freetz on my fritz box router to have a remote control for linknx. I have posted this here: http://knx-user-forum.de/20156-post174.html. With freetz (or other linux system) it is possible to use dtmfbox for an extended functionality, as you described above.
Best Regards
Chris
