LinkedDataGenerator is an application able to enrich video transcriptions with information gathered from the Linked Open Data(LOD) cloud.

The system performs NER detection from the transcriptions, then URIs are assigned to the detected entities using DBPedia Lookup Service, Wikipedia API and Sindice. Finally, the entities are enriched with information gathered from LOD datasets.

The enrichment process is guided by a set of configurable SPARQL querys.

The output of the system are the original transcriptions enriched with the new LOD information and stored using the new VTT HTML5 format.
