I used to use 'mserver' however it kept crashing for no
reason and caused a lot of problems in the process.
I came across your software and it looks
good....however the linux command line client does not
return 'script friendly' information. I have had to
write a script to moniter how long the modem has been
connected for and then redial it every 60 minutes.
This was easy with the mserver console client as when
it ran it simply showed data about "what" connection
was up, "how" long it had been up for (in seconds) and
a few details about connection speed and how much data
had been shifted through the connection.
the 'lcc' software returns.....cryptic information. It
wouldn't just be good for external scripts but also
human usage if you could call lcc with another
parameter that caused it to print information about
what connection was up and how long it had been up for
and then exit straight away.
This would be a great feature on otherwise fantasic bit
of software.

PS. '-x' and '-g' don't help :( Also if there is no
connect -x just hangs. :((

To get information about a line and it's times after it has
been closed is due to the protocol and the server
implementation not possible.
