Thanks for the data! As a very interesting coincidence, I just received a 
patch adding support for the HD300. Though I can't verify it since I don't 
have such a device, I added the code to the trunk at

and inserted the device id you reported for the HD500, so you probably want to 
try if the most recent version works for you as well. Could you please give me 
feedback?
